Saxon 9.2 is here. The current maintenance release is 9.2.1.2
The most noticeable change in 9.2 is that instead of the old split between Saxon-B (basic) and Saxon-SA (schema-aware), there are now three product bands: Home Edition (HE), Professional Edition (PE), and Enterprise Edition (EE). Saxon-EE is the new name for Saxon-SA, reflecting the fact that there are many more added-value features in the product than just schema awareness. The HE product remains open source, but removes some of the more advanced features that were present in Saxon-B; while Saxon-PE sits in between, providing a very modestly-priced commercial product designed to meet the needs of the typical commercial user, including the option of a flat-rate site license.

Saxon-EE and Saxon-PE licenses issued after 9 August 2009 will work with the current release. For those with earlier licenses, simply enter the existing license number when you reorder, and we will refund its residual value, based on when it was purchased.
