System Programming Interfaces

As an XSLT processor, Saxon-CE provides several types of interface. Those that are mainly for the use of the XSLT developer have dedicated sections elsewhere in the documentation.

This section covers interfaces not used for routine XSLT development, but intended instead mainly for integrating Saxon-CE with other systems such as browser plug-ins or applications hosting browser instances. There is no guarantee that these interfaces will remain stable in future releases.
