A free 30-day evaluation license is available. The evaluation license currently gives access to all functionality (Saxon-EE and Saxon-PE). Note that when running with an evaluation license, Saxon will occasionally insert random asterisks into the output of a transformation or query. This is designed to ensure that the software is not suitable for production use.
When purchasing online, you can buy either a one-year license, or an automatically renewing subscription. For more information see Annual term and subscription licenses.
A site license covers all computers on a single site, or all computers in the enterprise if you have less than 1000 employees. It also allows cloud deployment.
A license that allows redistribution of Saxon-PE or Saxon-EE with an application is available on request. The standard terms and conditions can be customised to meet specific contractual requirements.
