Alpha 0.3 (September 2011)
The main change in this release is that it has been more thoroughly tested, and in the course of this many bugs have been fixed. We now have a test framework for running all the W3C XSLT 2.0 tests. They are not yet all passing, but we have made sufficient progress towards this that it seems worth shipping a release containing bug fixes for those problems we have identified so far.
In the <script< element referrring to the XSLT stylesheet, the attribute that
refers to the source XML document is now named data-source
(was
input
). It can be omitted if there is no source document.
In addition, two new optional attributes are available on this element:
data-initial-template
defines the named template at which execution
should start, and data-initial-mode
defines the mode in which execution
should start. In both cases the name should be written in Clark notation if there is a
namespace (that is,{namespace}local
).
There is a known bug (also present in earlier releases): the
ixsl:eval()
extension function does not work.
There is updated information on the limitations of the release in terms of XSLT 2.0 conformance, notably in the areas of regular expressions and formatting of numbers.
The expiry date for this release is 31 December 2011. A new release will be available before that date.
